Slow Food Saturdays

Sorry for not posting for so long – life got busy.

Usually on Saturday mornings (when the weather cooperates) we walk down to Stellenbosch’s Slow Food Market (SLM).  The SLM is comprised of different local food vendors and family farms who gather on Saturdays at Dorp Street Square to sell their goods.  On any given Saturday you can find everything from homemade pizza to authentic chinese food to fresh bread and veggies.  It’s all we can do not to spend our rent money on eats!!

Anyway – here’s some pics from our morning at the SLM.

Down Dorp to the M-12. Turn left on the M-12 and walk a quarter mile and you’ll see some signs on the right. It’s located behind the distillery.

It’s not too far, a little further from your place. Takes us about 20 minutes to walk there. Not sure about the distillery – Bri said that : ) – I do know there are a few wine cellar’s right there. Could be a distillery – but I didn’t see it.
